What are my out of pocket expenses for selling my note or contract?
Weber Investment Group, LLC. will pay all normal closing costs related to the purchase of your note or contract. These costs typically consist of Appraisal, Title & Recording Fees.
How long does it take to receive my proceeds?
As a full service investment firm we are able to process your transaction quickly. You can expect to receive your proceeds in 10-15 business days.
How is the value of my note or contract determined?
The value of a note or contract is determined through the consideration of the interest rate, down payment, note term, and payment amount. The buyer’s credit may also play a role in the determination of value if any bankruptcy or tax liens are present.
How will selling my note or contract affect the payor?
The payor will not experience any changes whatsoever. We are purchasing the contract with the terms and provisions you originally agreed to. We are obligated to abide by the original terms of the contract. The payor will be notified with a new address where the payments are to be mailed.
Do I have to sell my entire note or contract?
We can purchase all or part of your remaining payments. Selling part of your remaining payments allows you to obtain a lump sum of cash now, while still keeping some of the payments for an investment or nest egg. Once we have collected the number of monthly payments we have purchased, the note or contract automatically reverts back to you.
Do I have any Liability to the transaction once the note or contract is sold?
No, you are no longer involved at all, once the note is sold. If you sell part of your note, the note will automatically revert back to you once the partial purchase has expired. You also have the option of selling your remaining payments at any time.
